Red Cross Responds to Fire in Shelbyville
Volunteers provide assistance to two adults and one child
HANNIBAL, January 7, 2013 — The American Red Cross Northeast Missouri Chapter dispatched a Disaster Action Team on January 3, 2013 to assist a family affected by a house fire on Six Street in Shelbyville, Missouri. The Red Cross provided food and clothing for two adults and one child.
The Red Cross is able to respond quickly when emergencies happen thanks to our generous donors. Locally, the American Red Cross Northeast Missouri Chapter is a proud member agency of the United Way of the Mark Twain Area, which makes significant investments every year in Red Cross services.
