Heartland Man Arrested For Molestation, Sodomy, Incest

According to court documents, Jason D. Haley, 39, of Newark, MO, has been arrested at the Heartland Community for alleged deviant sexual acts with children, which are alleged to have happened on the Heartland property.

The Heartland Community spans three counties and sits on the Knox County, Lewis County and Shelby County lines.

According to the Knox County Sheriff Allen Gudehus, Haley was taken into custody without incident on Friday night, October 9, 2015, at the Ozark Lodge at 400 New Creation Road by the KCSO and the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Haley stands accused of one count of child molestation in the first degree, which is a Class B felony, one felony count of sodomy and one felony count of incest, which are alleged to have happened in Knox County at the Ozark Lodge in 2011 and 2012.

More information is known about Haley’s alleged deviant sexual acts with children, which we are not releasing to the public at this time to protect the alleged victims.

According to the Knox County Prosecutor Jo Fortney, similar charges are expected to be filed against Haley in multiple counties.

Haley is scheduled to appear in Knox County Associate Court for an arraignment on October 27, 2015, before Judge Tom Redington. He is being held in the Lewis County Jail on a $100,000 cash only bond.

Haley is presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
