Coronavirus Cause For Cancellations in Shelby County – UPDATED

Several events in Shelby County have been cancelled or postponed due to the COVID-19. 

The North Shelby Honor Society induction ceremony that was scheduled for Wednesday, March 18 is postponed.

North Shelby Parent/Teacher Conference scheduled for Thursday, March 19 has been cancelled.

The MSHSAA Music Large Ensemble for Friday, March 20 has been suspended.

The Paris Ag Contest scheduled for Friday, March 20 has been cancelled.

The Pancake and Sausage Breakfast scheduled for Saturday, March 21 has been cancelled.

The Troy Ag Contest scheduled for Saturday, March 21 has been postponed.

The Neighbors Helping Neighbors event was scheduled to take place on Sunday, March 22 has been postponed. The committee will try and reschedule the event. Donations can be collected at the Community State Banks in Shelbina and Clarence.

The District FFA & Ag Sales Contest scheduled for Monday, March 23 has been cancelled.

The Traction Reunion scheduled for March 23 and 24 has been cancelled

The North Shelby Ag. Contest scheduled for Wednesday, March 25 has been postponed.

The Knights of Columbus Fish Fries that were scheduled for March 20 and 27 have been cancelled.

The Bethel Christian Church has postponed the revival that was taking place March 29 through April 1. 

Hawkins Theater will be closed until further notice.

The Shelby County Herald will continue to publish cancellations and postponements.
