NEMOnews Media Group Responds to COVID-19
Local newspapers have a special role in our communities. It’s our job to give our readers as much information as possible, especially in times of crisis. At the Shelby County Herald, we take that responsibility seriously.
Over the next few days and weeks, we encourage you to watch the newspaper, and check our website at www.shelbycountyherald.com for the latest updated information from state, community and public health officials. Things have been changing quickly, and we’ll do our best to keep you updated with the latest information.
Missouri Governor Mike Parson has recommended that large gatherings be cancelled or postponed. If your non-profit organization has paid for advertising, but decides to postpone the event, let us know. We will run your ad again at no charge prior to your rescheduled date.
This is a time to take care of each other as friends and neighbors. If you see a great example of neighbors helping neighbors, give us a call at 573-633-2261. We want to share the good stories, too.
Together, our communities will weather this storm and we’ll all come out stronger.
Thanks for reading the Shelby County Herald.
