Benefit to be Held for John Hunt
A benefit will be held for John Hunt, who formerly lived in Shelby County. Hunt’s cancer has returned and the doctors have told him there is nothing else they can do.
Leonard Crossroads Café will be having a bass tournament, a supper and a live auction on Saturday, June 20.
The bass tournament will be from at 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.Trophies and prizes for first, second and third will be presented in adults and kids’ divisions. The cost per kid (15 and under) is $10. Adults (16+) two-person team is $50 per team. A biggest bass competition will be held for the heaviest bass of the day for each division (adult and kid). Participants must pay an extra $10 to enter with a 100% payout.
Participants can fish any pond or lake they wish and can fish from boat or bank.

Forms can be emailed or picked up at Leonard Crossroads Café.
A free will donation supper will be provided at the Leonard Community Center. Carry-out will be available. Seating will be available, or you can bring lawn chairs.
