Sheriff Awaiting Shaw Autopsy Report

Shelby County Sheriff Dennis Perrigo told the Herald Friday, June 12 the investigation into the death of Matthew Shaw of Bethel is ongoing.

Perrigo indicated his department had not yet received the results from an autopsy by the Boone County Medical Examiner.

Shaw disappeared Friday, May 15 east of Shelbyville. His body was discovered two weeks later on Friday, May 29 in the vicinity of where he reportedly was involved in a motor vehicle accident at Route 168 and Shelby County Rd. 255.

Perrigo said he would release information as it became available.
