NS Softball Program on Hold Due to COVID-19

North Shelby School District announced three positive COVID-19 cases since Friday, Sept. 4 which has resulted in postponing softball games.

“We have some in quarantine and all games are cancelled until Sept. 18,” said Athletic Director Scott Gaines.

Superintendent Kim Gaines said, “Several players were identified as close contacts.”

At this time the North Shelby softball tournament is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 19.

“As this point, this has not affected football,” Gaines said.

The Raiders are scheduled to host Norborne Hardin-Central this Friday at 7 p.m.
