Early Youth
In 2019 there were antlered buck, 107; button buck, 16 and does 38 killed. Totaling 161 deer.
Numbers went up in 2020. There were 102 antlered bucks killed along with eight button bucks and 59 does. A total of 167 deer.
Firearm Season
During the 2019 firearm season there was a total of 1,379 deer killed. Antlered bucks, 600; 148 button bucks and 631 does.
Numbers in 2020 went up by 70, totaling 1,449. There were 739 antlered bucks killed. One-hundred and sixteen buttons bucks and 594 does.
State Firearm total
In the state of Missouri, firearms totaled 178,803 in 2019. In 2020, totals decreased to 176,420.
Late Youth
In the late youth portion in 2019, there was a total of 13 deer killed. Numbers increased in 2020 with a total of 48.
Antlerless Season
During the 2019 antlerless season there was a total of 139 deer killed. In 2020, there were 209 deer killed.
Alternative Season
Totals in 2019 were 144. Eighty-eight does killed. Hunters killed 27 antlered bucks and 29 button bucks. There was a total of 91 does killed in 2020 alternative season. Forty-two altered bucks and 15 button bucks.
Archery
During archery season in 2019, there was a total of 506 deer killed. In 2020, 566 deer were killed.
