David Edward Jurewicz, 74, passed away on March 18, 2021 at his residence in Columbia.
David was born on July 2, 1946 in Detroit, Mich. to Edward and Margaret Irene (Anderson) Jurewicz.
He is survived by his two daughters, Kim Thompson (Scott) of Clarence and Jennifer Nordby (Paul) of Hollister; two grandchildren, Jordan Thompson (Paige) of Columbia and Garrett Thompson of Clarence; three step grandchildren, Nick Nordby (Morgan) of Macon, Nicole Entrikin (Brett) of Eldorado Springs and Tim Nordby of Danville, Ill.; nine step-great-grandchildren; one brother, Paul Jurewicz (Cheryl) of Commerce Township, Mich. and beloved dog, Sophia.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
David enjoyed wood working, artistry, fishing, trains, sailboats, and baking. He played the drums in the band Interstate 4 for many years.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, March 21 at 4 p.m. at Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home in Clarence. A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 21 from 3 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Bessemer, Mich. at a later date.
