Cheryl Wear
Cheryl Wear, 73, of Shelbina, passed away March 19 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill.
Cheryl was born April 28, 1947 in Linn County, the daughter of William Wesley and Margie Gwendolyn Harper White. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Wear on March 29, 1968 in Shelbina. He survives.
She is also survived by her two children, Gary Wear and wife Dawn of Shelbina, and Susan Wooten and husband Jeremy of St. Louis, four grandchildren; Sidney Wear and fiancé Shelby Sires, Sadie Wear, Tyler Wooten, and Cailan Wooten, one great grandson; Beckett James Wear, and one brother; Bill White of Lake of Ozarks.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents.
Cheryl was a member of the Shelbina Christian Church. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, cooking, and spending time with her kids and grandkids and watching them play sports.
Visitation will be held Saturday, March 27 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home in Shelbina. Burial will be held at Jacksonville Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the Never Walk Alone Foundation or Neighbors Helping Neighbors.
