A Shelbina woman was involved in a one-vehicle accident on US 63 2 1/2 miles south of Jacksonville on Friday, April 30 at 9 a.m. in Randolph County.
Sixty-two-year-old, Marlene K. Thrasher was southbound driving a 2015 Jeep Liberty when she suffered from a medical complication. The Jeep ran off the road and overturned.
Thrasher was taken by Air Evac to the University Hospital in Columbia with serious injuries.
She was wearing a seat belt. The vehicle was totaled.
The MSHP was assisted by Randolph County Sheriff’s Department, Cairo Volunteer Fire Department and Randolph County Ambulance District.
