Louise Lavon Bachman

Louise Lavon Bachman, 91, of Macon, formerly of Shelbina passed away on May 6, 2021 at her home in Macon surrounded by her family and friends.

Louise was born on July 23, 1929 in Epworth, the daughter of Brode L. and Beulah Mae (Craigmyle) Parsons. She was united in marriage to James Hershel Bachman on November 16, 1946, in Shelbina.  He preceded her in death on September 6, 2007.

She is survived by her son, Gary Bachman and his wife, Nancy of Shelbyville; one daughter, Linda Renberg and her fiancé, David Snarr of Macon; eight grandchildren, JoLynn Maupin and husband Kerry, Jimmy Jurado and wife Stephanie, Jason Snarr and wife Kelcy, Cody Brown and wife Michelle, Lauren Lenauer of husband Devin, Sandy Gonzales and husband Juan, Lou Rae Lee and Charlene Johnson; six great grandchildren; two sisters, Elaine Nagel of Edina and Jeanie Dennis and husband Orlando of Quincy, Ill. and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Dennis Bachman; and daughter, Kathy Snarr.

Louise was a member of Bevier Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing the piano, singing gospel music, and spending time with her family and friends.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 11 at 11 a.m. at the Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home in Shelbina. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. prior to the service.

Burial will follow the service in Shelbina Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home.
