Mary Lou Stevens

Mary Lou Stevens, 94, of Shelbina, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2021 at Salt River Community Care in Shelbina.

Mary Lou was born December 22, 1926 in Shelbina, the daughter of Burl and Eula (Gilchrist) Noble. She was united in marriage in October 1951 to Orville Stevens in Shelbina. He preceded her in death on April 16, 1992.

Mary Lou is survived by two children, Mike Stevens of Shelbina, and Ted Stevens of Las Vegas, Nev.; and one granddaughter, Rebecca Stevens of London, UK.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one sister, Myda Christine.

Mary Lou was a member of the Shelbina Christian Church. She enjoyed operating the golf course with Orville, being around the public, fixing hair, and watching Missouri Tiger basketball.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 27 at 2 p.m. at Shelbina Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home in Shelbina prior to the service.

Memorials may be made to the Shelby County Senior Citizens.
