Strong winds and rain made its way through Shelby County on Sunday, June 20. A tornado warning was issued for most areas in the county. Tornado sirens went off at approximately 9:10 p.m. in Shelbyville. Sirens were also activated for most communities in the county. The photograph above shows a tree that fell on a home on Monroe Street in Shelbyville. The home was owned by Rosie Flowers. The house is not salvageable.
