Donna Kay Langhammer
Donna Kay Langhammer, 72, of Clarence, passed away Saturday, July 24, 2021 at her home.
Donna was born May 30, 1949, in Macon County, the daughter of John Everett and Dorothy Grace (Poore) Dennis. She was united in marriage to Carl Langhammer on July 5, 1969 in Clarence. He survives.
Other survivors include, three children, Carla Williams (Matt) of Columbia, Carie Barlow (James) of Peoria, Ariz. and Corey Langhammer of Olathe, Kan.; five grandchildren, Annie Williams, Katie Williams, Tommy Williams, Ethan Barlow and Ryan Barlow; two sisters, Betty McDuffee (David) of Macon and Karen Stewart (John) of Macon; and one brother, John Dennis (Carol) of Atlanta.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Linda Dunaway.
Donna was a graduate of South Shelby High School in 1967. She was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church of Clarence, and the St. Patrick’s Altar Society. She enjoyed working at the courthouse in the Circuit Clerk’s office, Clarence State Bank, Toastmaster and Johnston’s Drug Store. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 281 at the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Clarence, with celebrant, Father Bill Peckman and Deacon Larry Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Clarence. A rosary prayer service was held at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 27 followed by visitation from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home of Clarence.
Family requests memorials be made to St. Patrick’s Cemetery of Clarence.
