Repair Work Completed on Dome

Heimer Construction, of Palmyra, began repair work on the courthouse dome Monday, July 19. Work is being done to the metal around the dome and the company is also doing some painting. According to Shelby County Presiding Commissioner Glenn Eagan, the project was estimated to cost around $12,000. The photograph above was taken on Tuesday, July 20.
