Lady Raiders vs. Paris
Whitney Snow’s no-hitter against Paris was key for North Shelby’s 14-0 victory Tuesday, September 7.
Snow struck out 11 and walked one.
Neither team had hits in the first inning.
One run was made in the second inning. NS added to their lead in the third with five runs.
The Lady Raiders secured the win with eight runs in the fourth inning.
Caroline Linberer. Chesnie Robbins, Addy Uhlmeyer, Snow, Ceairra Kirby and Meg Shively, each had RBIs in the inning.
Uhlmeyer and Williams were 2-for-3 at the plate.
Only four Lady Raiders struck out.
NS at Canton
The Lady Raiders traveled to Canton on Thursday, September 9. NS lost 4-1.
The Lady Tigers started getting things going in the third inning when they scored three runs.
North Shelby’s only run was made in the sixth inning.
Uhlmeyer and Linberger each managed one hit in the game.
Natalie Thrasher was in the circle for NS. She surrendered four runs on nine hits over five innings. She struck out four and walked zero.
Snow threw one inning. She struck out two.
