Officially on October 1, TPNB Bank in Shelbina opened its full-service branch. Instead of just offering loans, customers are now offered checking, savings and other deposit products. Additional services are online banking, mobile banking and instant issue debit cards.
“We service a lot of Shelby County customers already, so having a physical presence here, gives them a closer location to do their business,” said Vice President of Loans Jeanette Poore.
TPNB has been a locally owned and operated bank since 1865 with its main office being in Paris.
Poore has been in the banking field for 30 years.
“Working with numbers is what drew me to banking, but my favorite part about banking is the personal relationships and friendships that I have made over the years with my customers and with people in the community,” said Poore.
With years of experience on both the deposit and loan side of banking, Poore said the majority of what she does currently is loans, including home, ag, consumer and commercial.
TPNB Bank is happy to welcome Taylor Harrington at the Shelbina branch. Harrington began training in August 2021. Harrington will be a teller and set up new accounts.
Poore stated the bank is very competitive on rates and products. For more information those interested can stop by the office located at 205 South Center Street in Shelbina or call 573-588-6064. The bank is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
