Dorothy Elaine Roberts

Elaine Roberts, 84, of Shelbina, passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021 at the Monroe Manor in Paris.

Elaine was born July 2, 1937, in Fayette, the daughter of Earl and Fannie Boone McKenzie Thompson.  She was united in marriage to Gene Roberts on October 7, 1961 in Higbee. He survives.

She is also survived by one child, Sherri Rosenbaum and husband Mike of Shelbina, several cousins and her fur babies.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Elaine was a member of the Shelbina Christian Church.  She enjoyed reading, traveling, spending time with the McWilliams kids, and loved working with the little kids in the church nursery.

Visitation was held Wednesday, December 29, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Greening Eagan and Hayes Funeral Home in Shelbina. Funeral services were held Thursday, December 30, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.  Burial was held at Shelbina Cemetery.

Memorials can be made to Neighbors Helping Neighbors or the American Cancer Society.
