Priscilla D. McReynolds, 77, of Marshall, Mo., passed away peacefully on Friday, January 28, 2022, at Big Bend Retreat in Slater.

  At Priscilla’s request no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to First Christian Church or Marshall Public Library in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Friends may sign the online register book at www.campbell-lewis.com

  Born October 2, 1944, in Shelbina, Priscilla was the daughter of the late Sgt. James Spencer and Helen Tolle Spencer. She grew up in Shelbyville and graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1962, and then the Burlington Beauty Academy in 1963. On September 15, 1964, she married Wayne McReynolds who survives of the home. After living in Nevada, through 1974, with a short stay in Columbia, in 1967, they made their home in Marshall in 1974.

  Priscilla’s early years were spent in cosmetology, sewing, crafting, painting, making lifelong friends, and raising Kyle and Heather. In 1996, she started her dream job at Marshall Public Library as a circulation desk assistant, moving onto acquisitions and finally an administrative assistant in the last couple of years before retiring in early 2009. She was an avid reader, enjoyed her computer and cats, keeping up with friends, and watching her grandson, Trent. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Marshall and was a loved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Wayne and Priscilla enjoyed 57 years of marriage.

  In addition to her husband, Wayne, Priscilla is survived by her son, Kyle McReynolds (Joy); grandson, Trent McReynolds; her daughter, Heather Jones (Tom).
