  Paul Lee Beck, 64, passed away on March 9, 2022.

  He was a 1975 graduate of North Shelby High School. Paul grew up in Berkeley, Calif. and would spend childhood summers in Missouri with close family.

  Paul’s family moved to Shelbyville, Mo. for his last two years of high school. Paul was a great football and baseball player for the varsity teams at North Shelby High School. It was during these years that he met so many close friends that he stayed in touch with up until the day he died.

  Paul eventually moved back to California where he met his wife, Joan Beck. Paul and Joan have two children, Paul Jr. and Christina.

  Paul was always involved with the community he lived in by volunteering his time to coach youth sports and also helping with the local church. Paul worked for many years with Charles Schwab as a financial advisor before retiring in 2020.

  After retiring Paul and his wife Joan moved to the Carson City area of Nevada.

  He is survived by his wife, son and daughter, his sister, Linda, and his brother, Bill.  He is also survived by Paul Jr’s wife, Taylor, and their two children, Kellen and Kennedy.

  Memorial services will take place on April 23, 2022 at 12 p.m. at Valley Christian Fellowship, 1681 Lucerne Street, Minden, NV 89423.
