The North Shelby Raider Band has been invited to participate in the 64th AutoZone Liberty Bowl in Memphis, Tennessee, December 2023.
The AutoZone Liberty is the 7th oldest college bowl game and is the most tradition-rich and patriotic of all the bowl games. Bands from across the country are selected each year to participate. This is the first time we have performed in a major event like this and are excited to be a part of it.
The Raider Band will be leaving on December 26 and return on the 30th.
We will be holding various fundraisers throughout the summer and fall to offset the cost of this tour. It will cost approximately $700 per student to attend. The cost includes hotel rooms, meals, performance opportunities, sightseeing, competition, and transportation for the whole tour. The Raider Band needs to raise $16,000 additionally to the funds already raised.
