The Board of Aldermen met in regular session on Monday, June 6, 2022 at city office at 6 pm. Present were Mayor Vanskike, Aldermen Brad Willey, Jerry Myers, Gene Boyles and Rob Southers. City Clerk Gina Mesmer and City Superintendent Randy Shores.
Mayor Vanskike called the meeting to order at 6 pm.
Alderman Willey made a motion to approve the minutes and Alderman Southers seconded the motion. Motion passed.

Mayor Vanskike read Ordinance #178 from Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission Municipal Agreement on pavement resurfacing and reconstruction of curb ramps for crossings at the Northeast, Northwest and Southeast corners or the intersection of MO 15 with MO 168 and Route K. Alderman Southers made a motion to approve the ordinance and Alderman Boyles seconded the motion. A roll call vote was taken with Alderman Willey, Alderman Myers, Alderman Boyles and Alderman Southers All YAY.
Mayor Vanskike read Resolution #179 whereas the City of Shelbyville desires to purchase real estate from Jim Mahaffey, Pamela Miles and Paul Mahaffey. Alderman Myers made a motion to approve Resolution #179 and Alderman Boyles seconded the motion. A roll call vote was taken with Alderman Willey, Alderman Myers, Alderman Boyles and Alderman Southers All YAY.
The city should be receiving the construction permit next week from DNR and can then proceed with the bidding process for the lagoon.
Gina asked the board about a new copier for the office. The old one is broke and not repairable. The board agreed to proceed with the purchase of a new copier.
The next meeting will be July 11, 2022 at city office at 6 pm
Alderman Willey made a motion to adjourn at 6:25 and Alderman Myers seconded the motion.
