Connie Faye Walter, 75, of Clarence, MO, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2022 at the Salt River Community Care Center in Shelbina, MO.
Connie was born on April 18, 1947, in Moberly, MO the daughter of Wayne Clyde and Viola (Price) Tremain. She was united in marriage to Charles Herman Walter on October 3, 1964 in Clarence, MO. He preceded her in death on February 1, 2017.
She is survived by her three children, Wayne Walter of Jacksonville, MO, Annetta Mettes (Larry) of Clarence, MO, and David Walter of Madison, MO; grandchildren, Danielle Rowan (Chad), Alicia Walter, Brittany Pagliai, Brooke Holley (Reh), Davis Walter (Taylor), Samantha Carnahan (Cody), Michael Roslien (Courtney), Galynn Schwieter (Ryan), Caitlynn Walter (Derik), and David Walter (Aleah); numerous great-grandchildren, Drayden Conde, Cayden Walter, Devyn Rowan, Tatym Pagliai, Jayci Pagliai, Rylynn Rowan, Kaylee Carnahan, Bo Holley, Evvann Walter, Jesse Holley, Addy Walter, Hadley Schwieter, Kolt Carnahan, Addison Roslien, Hudson Roslien, Deklynn Walter, Gatlin Holley, Barrett Holley, Silus Walter, Jiraiya Pickett, Daisy Walter, Luke Walter and three expecting great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lowell Tremain and Rick Tremain; two sisters, Glenda Goon and Revetta Hudson; and several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Connie is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles; one great-grandson, Trey Allen Walter; and two brothers, Monty Tremain and Mark Tremain.
Connie was a member of the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Clarence. She enjoyed playing BINGO, camping, dancing, mud runs, demo derbies, and fish fry’s. Most of all, she cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am on Friday, July 8, 2022 at the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Clarence, MO, with Father Bill Peckman as the celebrant. Burial will follow in the St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery in Clarence. Visitation will be held from 5 pm to 7 pm on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at the Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home in Clarence, MO. Family suggests memorials be made to Helping Hand of Clarence and American Cancer Society.
