Kenna was born on December 28, 1946, in Hannibal, MO, the daughter of Floyd and Oneita May (Hiles) Martin. She was united in marriage to Bill Dodd on February 13, 1966 at the Lohman Chapel near Shelbina, MO. He survives.
She is also survived by her three children, Jim Dodd of Shelbyville, MO, Tony Dodd of Shelbyville, MO, and Harold Dodd (Chris) of Shelbina, MO; three grandchildren, Kelsea Krigbaum, Zach Dodd, and Hunter Middendorff; one great-grandchild, Kendalyn Dunn; and several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Kenna was a member of the First Baptist Church in Shelbyville and Shelbina. She also served on the Neighbors Helping Neighbors committee and the General Federated Woman’s Club. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, playing on the computer, reading, and was an avid follower of politics. Kenna loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them, especially her grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Friday, July 8, 2022 at the Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home in Shelbina. A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2022 from 5 pm to 7 pm at the funeral home. Family suggests memorials be made to Neighbors Helping Neighbors
