Jimmie Joe Snell, 69, of Shelbyville, passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2022.

Jimmie was born  August 5, 1953 in Newark, Missouri, the son of Harold Dean and Erma Lee (Thrasher) Snell.

He is survived by his one son, Douglas Austin Snell and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Jimmie was a member of the NRA. He loved his animals and enjoyed watching classic movies, especially westerns. He was happiest on his farm where he found his peace.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, September 8, 2022 at 10 a.m. at Shiloh Cemetery, located north of Bethel.

Memorials may be made to Shiloh Cemetery.
