There was a fundraiser held Saturday, November 5, 2022 to help raise funds for the Bethel Community Center.
There was a free-will donation collected for a meal served and a fun- filled evening of live music and skits.
The band, Ray Smith (Rhythm Guitar), Paul Burton (Lead Guitar), Barry Burton (Steel Guitar), Larry Mettes (Bass Guitar) and Randy Chapin (Drums) did a great job providing the music for the night as many local community members and guests performed. The event has raised $3,000 so far with an estimated 200 in attendance.
The Bethel ommunity Center is a non-profit organization that strives to meet the needs of the community by having available a multipurpose building to be used by all ages, regardless of ability to pay.
It is a place where families can gather and enjoy each other’s company, and where people can exercise and have fun with family and friends.
It is operated on funds brought in by donations, fundraisers and small grants when available. They offer tables and chairs to rent for events and have camping spots available also.
