The Raiders took down Macon Co./Bucklin on senior night with a final score of 64-23.
NS was led by
JD Rich with 23 points. Jade Daniel had 18.
The Raiders (10-12) went 5-for-8 from the charity stripe.
They scored 18 points in the first quarter. Rich had three 3-pointers with a bucket. Brendyn McDaniel scored a three. Daniel and Gabe Orr each tallied two points.
Daniel led NS in the second quarter with 10 of their 21 points. Orr had five while Rich and McDaniel tallied two points.
The Raiders had 20 points in the third period. Rich claimed nine points. Daniel had six. Orr and Casey Shockley each scored a bucket.
In the fourth quarter the Raiders only scored five points.
Jeremiaha Pratt hit a three pointer and Oren Vanskike scored a bucket.
Raiders vs. Eagles
The Raiders defeated Knox County, 57-36 on Friday, February 10, 2023.
North Shelby (11-12) was led by Jade Daniel with 17 points. JD Rich had 14 and Brendyn McDaniel had 12 points. Cole Browning scored six. The Raiders went 14-for-22 from the free throw line.
The Raiders outscored the Eagles 12 to 6 in the first period. Daniel had four points. Gabe Orr, Rich, McDaniel and Casey Shockley each scored two points.
McDaniel led NS in the second quarter with seven points. Rich and Browning each scored 3-pointers. Clay Cook made a bucket.
The Eagles and Raiders each tallied 14 points in the third period.
Daniel had four points. Browning and McDaniel splashed in a three-pointer. Shockley earned two points and Rich had one.
As a team the Raiders put 16 points on the board to end the game.
Daniel claimed eight points. Rich went 6-for-8 from the charity line and also scored a bucket.
