MSHP Report – Troop B
Three teen males received minor injuries in a rollover accident on Saturday, March 11, 2023, on US 36 at Anabel in Macon County at 6:40 p.m.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, a 17-year-old, from Shelbina, was westbound, driving a 2001 Jeep Cherokee, when he slid of the right side of the roadway and overturned.
He was transported by Macon County Ambulance to Samaritan Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. He was not wearing a seat belt.
Two 15-year-old male occupants were wearing seat belts. The 15-year-old from Shelbina was transported by Macon County Ambulance to Samaritan Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. The other occupant from Lentner was transported by private auto to Samaritan Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.
The Jeep was totaled and removed by Still’s Towing. The vehicle was insured by State Farm.
The MSHP was assisted by Macon County Sheriff’s Department, Macon County Rescue Squad and Macon County Ambulance.
