The Shelbyville Board of Alderman met in regular session on Monday, April 3, 2023, at the city office at 6 p.m. Present were Mayor Mike Vanskike, Aldermen Jerry Myers, Gene Boyles and Rob Southers. City Superintendent Randy Shores, city employee Nathan Minear and City Clerk Gina Mesmer. Alderman Brad Willey was absent.
Mayor Vanskike opened the meeting at 6 p.m.
Alderman Myers made a motion to approve the minutes with a change on the next meeting date from April 30 to April 3. Alderman Boyles seconded the motion. Motion passed.
Alderman Southers made a motion to approve the bills and Alderman Myers seconded the motion. Motion passed.
The board looked over a letter from NECAC and the first quarter budget report.
Residential bulk trash pickup will be April 21.
Mayor Vanskike reported the ramp at the lake should get started the end of this week or first of next week.
Randy and Nathan are working with the new UV lighting that was installed at the lagoon.
The next meeting will be Monday, May 1, 2023.
Alderman Southers made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 6:15 and Alderman Boyles seconded the motion.
