South Shelby Draws District Six Top Seed. Indians Second Highland Third Seed

South Shelby (17-4) drew the top seeding in the May 15-18, 2023 MSHSAA Class 3, District 6 Baseball Tournament at South Shelby. The Cardinals and second seeded Clark County drew first round byes.

Fourth seeded Monroe City (3-11) takes on fifth seed Palmyra (1-17) in first round action on Monday, May 15 with a 4PM first pitch. Third seeded Highland (5-9) challenges sixth seed Mark Twain (2-16) in the second and final first round game scheduled to start at 6PM.

South Shelby plays the winner of the Monroe City vs. Palmyra game on Wednesday, May 17 at 4PM in championship semifinal action. Clark County (17-7) plays the winner of the Highland vs. Mark Twain game at 6PM Wednesday in the second semifinal contest.

The Class 3, District 6 championship game is slated for 5PM on Thursday, May 18. The South Shelby District champion plays the winner of Class 3 District 5 at Bridgeton on May 23 in the Sectional round.

St. Louis Duschene (15-5) is the top District 5 seed. Elsberry (14-8) is seeded second.
