  A transformation is currently beginning at Shiloh Christian Church’s Ranch. The Kahoka site has families anticipating their part in the transformation and will make the move this summer to the Clarence site.

  After celebrating its 45th anniversary of ministry, the Shiloh Trustee Board evaluated the strength of its ministry and found it extremely healthy.

  “From this evaluation, the Trustees see Shiloh poised for a greater level of growth and effectiveness. With this appraisal in hand, the Trustee Board has approved plans that will allow new opportunities for expansion of care and ministry,” said Shiloh Christian Children’s Ranch Executive Director Mark Adkison.

  This move will create many new opportunities for some of Shiloh’s personnel and for the ministry’s immediate and future growth.

  Homeparents Kevin and Denice Blew, will transition from 40 years of homeparenting into new roles within the administrative side of the ministry. Kevin and Denise will now use their vast ministry experience as Placement Representative for Denice, and Stewardship Officer for Kevin.

  With Kevin and Denice’s transition, Homeparents Ken and Beth Penfield, will continue to be homeparents, but will transition to the role of Relief Homeparents for the families at the newly combined Clarence ranch site. Ken and Beth will be moving into the totally remodeled Clarence relief home.

  Homeparents Jeremy and Ashley Cohn will continue to be homeparents and will take up residence with their family at C1 Clarence home.

  Construction is already underway on the lower level of the Clarence Bunkhouse to accommodate the school.

  Another immediate opportunity is the construction of a new home. Plans are ready and construction will begin soon. The completed home will be home for Homeparents Jeremy and Ashley Cohn’s family.

  Then, once the Cohn’s move, the 45+ year old C1 home will be totally renovated for future children needing Shiloh’s care.

  “Shiloh’s future growth is due to the generations of lives that have been changed because of Your faithful support. We see the value of changed lives and do not want to stop here,” said Adkison.
