Bob G. Boyles, age 84, of Shelbyville, Mo., passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at his home in Shelbyville.

Bob was born February 1, 1939 in Shelbina, Mo., the son of Vincil and Goldie P. Boyles.  He was united in marriage to Ginny Black in Shelbina, Mo. She survives.

He is also survived by his nine children, Terry Boyles (Angel) of Cairo, Mo., Mary Lamb, Debbie Smith (Homer), Sherry Jones (Phil), David Boyles (Karen), and Larry Canaday (Rose) all of Liberty, Mo.; Gene Boyles (Heather) of Shelbyville, Mo., Sheila Mitzel (Aleck) of Kansas City, Mo., and Susan Carty (Bill) of Lathrop, Mo.; several grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and other extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Donnie Boyles; sister-in-law, Faye Boyles; and two grandsons, Daniel Mitzel and Nathan Emery.

Bob was a member of A.F. and A.M. #31 Masonic Lodge.  He was an over the road trucker until his retirement in 1995 and a teamster member for many years.  Bob was a member of the Shelbyville Baptist Church.  He loved the Lord and when he was able, he enjoyed attending services with his wife and church family.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at the Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home in Shelbina, MO, followed with the burial in the Shelby Memorial Cemetery of Shelbyville, MO.  Visitation will precede the funeral starting at 1 pm at the funeral home.  Memorials may be made to the Shelbyville Baptist Church or Donor’s Choice.
