Passport Application & Passport Picture Now Available at the Shelby County Courthouse

Beginning March 25, the Shelby County Court House will be your local one stop shop to apply for your passport.  The Circuit Clerk, Tammy Snider, and the Recorder of Deeds, Audrey Buzzard, are working together to make it easier to get your Passport.  Soon you can get your picture taken and submit your passport application in the same day.

The Circuit Clerk has the forms you need available on site.  However, you can also go to https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/how-apply/forms.html, then fill out and print the form and bring it with you to the Circuit Clerk’s Office.  New applications must be verified and submitted through the Circuit Clerk.

If you are in need of a picture, please call ahead to ensure someone is available in the Recorder’s Office to take and print the picture.  Passport Pictures are $10.
