Lalonna Karnes

 

Lalonna Karnes, 48, was born in Des Moines, Iowa to Roger and Nancy Karnes on March 17, 1972. She went home to meet our Lord on September 27, 2020.

  She is survived by her father, Roger; partner, Joseph; her sons: Joshua (Alexis) and Nicolae; her sister Angela (Cordell); her brothers: Roger (Michell) and Patrick; her granddaughters: Gabrielle and Claire; as well as her nieces: Stephanie, Victoria, Paige, Serenity and nephews: Michael and Silas.

  Lalonna was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Karnes; as well as both sets of grandparents.

  Lalonna took great joy in spending time with her sons and being “Grammy” to her granddaughters. She loved morning coffee with her dad and spending time with her dogs Amelia and Annabelle.

  A memorial service was held from 1 until 3 p.m. on Saturday October 3 at Grace Church.

Grace is located at 4200 E 25th street in Des Moines, Iowa.
