A very quick destructive storm with high winds, rain and hail made its way through Shelbina on Friday, June 2, 2023 at approximately 2:45 p.m. According to Shelbina City Superintendent Dennis Klusmeyer, multiple trees were down and the city experienced power outages. Primary circuits 1 and 3 on the southwest and southeast side were out. All power was restored around 8 p.m. The photograph above shows Shelbina workers repairing a power line on Highway 15.
