Big Ed’s Tire and Service began serving the local community Monday, June 12, 2023. The business is located at 510 E. Maple Street in Shelbina.
Owners, Dale Durbin, Dean Durbin and Tom Elsen want to provide additional services to the community.
“I think it was a need for the community as well as for our construction business. We needed someone to service tires for us all hours of the day and we couldn’t find that locally,” said Dean’s wife, Zanna.
Big Ed’s will be managed by JJ Adams. Adams is a graduate from Hunter Engineering Company in Lee’s Summit, Mo., ASE Certified and has four years of mechanical experience.
Not only will the business sell tires of all sizes; they will offer mechanic services as well as service calls.
Big Ed’s is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon. To contact Big Ed’s call 573-588-6056.
