Krissy Lynn Burke

Kristina Lynn “Krissy” Burke, 46, of Clarence, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, Mo.

Krissy was born on June 10, 1977 in Kirksville, Mo., the daughter of Ronny Walker and Donna (Cheatum) Bradshaw. Krissy was united in marriage to Patrick Burke on July 15, 1995 at the Church of the Nazarene in Kirksville, Mo. He survives.

She is also survived by four children, Kamron Rainey (Gage) of Shelbina, Mo., Daniel Burke of Clarence, Mo., Rowan Burke (Serenity Lee) of Clarence, Mo., and Mack Burke of Clarence, Mo.; one grandson, Hayden Rainey; her parents, Ronny Walker and Donna Bradshaw of Kirksville, Mo. and Columbia, Mo.; brother, Steven Walker (Lucia) of Columbia, Mo.; sister, Sasha Lewton of Shalimar, Fla.; aunt, Diana Cheatum of Novelty, Mo.; and several in-laws, nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Mack and Helen Cheatum; uncles, Bill Cheatum and Robert Walker; aunt, Shirley Walker; and step-mother, Sherry Walker.

Krissy loved her family and was a very passionate supporter of the South Shelby High School. She always loved working with the elderly in nursing homes, most recently working at Salt River Community Care and Valley View Nursing and Rehab in Moberly. Krissy enjoyed vacationing at the beach, rock hunting, and trying new things. She always had great words of wisdom for all of her family and friends. Krissy loved supporting her children in everything they did.

A Celebration of Life was held from 1-3pm on Sunday, February 18, 2024 at the Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home in Clarence, Mo.

Memorials may be made to the Education Fund for Mack Burke (checks payable to Patrick Burke).
