Raiders vs. Scotland Co.
North Shelby traveled to Memphis on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, and lost 11-3.
Scotland jumped out to an early lead in the top of the second inning and led 4-0.
The Raiders (4-4) scored their first run in the second inning after Grady Gander grounded out, and Cade Fallert came home.
Ty Bacon singled on a ground ball to center field and Aiden Barrick hit a grounder and reached on an error by third baseman.
Kale Pollard singled on a fly ball to center field bringing in Bacon and Barrick. The Raiders still trailed 4-3.
The Tigers scored three runs in the fourth and continued to dominate bringing in four runs in the fifth inning and capturing the victory.
NS only tallied three hits in the game.
North Shelby vs. Highland
The Raiders (5-4) dominated the Cougars on Thursday, April 17, 2025, 18-2.
NS scored six runs on one hit in the fourth inning. Cole Browning doubled, scoring one run, Grady Gander and Ty Bacon was were both walked, each scoring a run. Colton Gander hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run and Kale Pollard grounded out, bringing in two Raiders.
North Shelby then went on to score seven runs on three hits in the top of the sixth. Pollard, Isaac Berry, Bo Bacon, Browning were each walked and each walk brought in a run. Senior Cade Fallert grounded out bringing in a Raider. Ty Bacon singled, scoring one and an error by Highland scored one run for NS.
Browning and Ty Bacon left NS with two hits each. As a team they had eight hits. Fifteen Raiders were walked and only three struck out.
Kaden Hunolt earned the win for the Raiders. He surrendered 10 hits and two runs (one earned) over six innings. He struck out four Cougars and only walked two.
