I will begin my letter with our 29th year Barton Reunion. One Hundred-five family members had a beautiful Sunday, June 8th to celebrate. As I have written before we have wonderful cooks, bakers, etc. to provide a bountiful meal. The Clarence Lake and shelter made a beautiful setting for us to visit, reminisce and make memories. Family names are in order written, not by age, but upon arrival.

Since Father’s Day we honored both parents with our reunion as well as the fathers present.
Well, another Clarence Homecoming is over with many different festivities, too many for me to name. Although I will mention Friday evening’s performance by “Tyler Richton and The High Band was my highlight in the music category. Many people voiced their enjoyment and how they hoped we could have them back in 2026. You just can’t beat having a fiddle in a band. Again, all my opinions are my own.
The Beaux and Belles Square Dance along with other club’s members danced Wednesday evening. Was it hot, yes it was but we did it anyway. Our club will start new lessons in August. We welcome new students as some are getting older. In order, to keep square dancing alive, we need more dancers. If you are wanting to learn, please contact me.
Thanks for reading.
