The Lady Raiders get 10th win of the season against Clark County on Thursday, September 18, 2025, 5-4.
Clark County took an early lead in the first inning after earning a double and bringing in a Lady Indian.
North Shelby (10-1) scored their first run after Lauryn Thrasher doubled on a line drive to center field which brought in Emelia Flores.
The Lady Raiders took its first lead of the game after Aubri Luckett singled on a hard ground ball to left field and Harper Copenhaver crossed the plate. NS led 2-1.
North Shelby continued to add to its lead after Flores doubled on a line drive to center field and Luckett came home. They led 3-1 in the bottom of the third inning.
Clark County put a run on the board in the top of the fourth. NS still held a 3-2 lead.
Luckett singled on a fly ball to left field in the fourth inning and Copenhaver crossed the plate. The Lady Raiders led 4-2.
NS took a 5-2 lead after Alexis Browning scored on an error by Clark County’s catcher.
The Lady Indians scored their final two runs in the sixth inning.
North Shelby tallied 10 hits against Clark County. Only one Lady Raider struck out and two were walked.
Flores gave up five hits and two runs over three innings. She struck out four and walked four and while facing 16 batters.
Clara Uhlmeyer gave up five hits and two runs over four innings. She struck out eight and only walked one while facing 18 batters.
