North Shelby (7-0) traveled to Westran on Monday, September 8, 2025, and beat the Lady Hornets, 3-2.
Clara Uhlmeyer was huge for NS as she struck out 10 batters. She only allowed seven hits and two runs over seven innings while walking zero.
Emelia Flores hit a solo home run to left field putting the Lady Raiders on the board, 1-0.
Westran took a 2-1 lead after a fly ball to right field brought in two Lady Hornets.
Izzy Jones and Alexis Browning were on base when Flores singled on a fly ball to center field and NS took a 3-2 advantage.
The Lady Raiders had eight hits in the game. Aubri Luckett led with three hits. Flores had two while Harper Copenhaver, Jones, and Adrien Wiley each had one hit.
