Cardinals Lose at Westran

  The South Shelby Cardinals traveled to Westran on Friday, May 1, 2026, and lost 15-0 in four innings.

  South Shelby allowed three runs in the bottom of the third inning and 12 runs in the bottom of the fourth inning.

  The Cardinals were held to four hits and two walks.

  Peyson Larrick pitched three and one-third innings allowing nine runs, eight earned runs, on eight hits, one walk and three strikeouts. Corbin Darling pitched one-third of an inning, allowing six runs, one earned run, on three hits and two walks.

  The Cardinals, 2-13 overall, hosted Mark Twain on Monday, May 4, and host Scotland County on Tuesday, May 5. They travel to Palmyra on Thursday, May 7, host Salisbury on Monday, May 11, and travel to Macon on Tuesday, May 12. All games begin at 5 p.m.
