Macon Police Department News Releases – June 17, 2014

On 06/10/14 at approximately 7:00pm, an officer of the Macon Police Department served two active arrest warrants on Stephanie Lees, 23-year old white female of Macon, for failure to appear on charges of failing to register a motor vehicle and failure to provide financial responsibility. The warrants were issued out of the City of Macon. Lees was unable to post bond and was taken to the Macon County Jail to be held in lieu of bond.

On 06/12/14 at approximately 5:00pm, an officer of the Macon Police Department enforcement contact with an individual riding an ATV on city streets in the 800 block of Kohl Street. As a result of the contact, police discovered an active warrant for the subject out of Boone County for failure to appear in court on the charge of stealing. The subject, Zachary R Hall, 23-year old white male of New Cambria, was arrested and transported to the Macon County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.

A criminal charge is merely an allegation and the defendant is, of course, presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
