Vic R Cline

Vic Cline passed away January 8, 2020 near his home in Shelbyville, Missouri.

Vic was born August 9, 1938 in East Liverpool, Ohio, the son of Victor Raymond Sr. and Ida Mae (McKinney) Cline. He was united in marriage to Janet Schieferdecker on June 19, 1960 in Monroe City, Missouri. She survives.

He is also survived by his two children, Tammy Sue Cline-Raftery of St. Louis, Missouri, and Tina Lynn Talbott (Michael) of Blue Springs, Missouri; grandchildren, Cory Daniel Raftery, and Christian, Allie, Brady, and Jaxson Talbott; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters; one brother; and step-mom, Toni Cline.

Vic served his country in the United States Air Force for four years, where he worked on jet engines in Arkansas. He was a member to the Board of the Rural Electric Association, the Missouri Pork Producers, the Mark Twain Handicap Hunt, and the University of Missouri Extension. He also volunteered his time as a 4-H leader and was able to participate with the MS 150 Bicycle Ride and mission activities at an Indian reservation. Vic enjoyed bicycling, fishing, golfing, hunting, softball, and racquetball. He was a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the Missouri Tigers.

Funeral services were be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, January 13, 2020 at the Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home in Shelbina, Missouri. A visitation preceded the service starting at 12 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial was held in the Greenwood Cemetery in Palmyra, Missouri.
