Bobbie A Mefford, Sr

Bobbie Arlee Mefford, Sr age 68, passed away Monday, January 20, 2020 at his home in Shelbina, MO.

He was born February 1, 1951 in Hannibal, MO, the son of Leslie Eugene and Wanda May (Fredholm) Mefford. He was united in marriage to Iva Faye Gale on November 17, 1972 in Shelbyville, MO.

Bobbie is survived by his wife; two sons, David Mefford (Lora) of Shelbina, MO and Andrew Mefford (Chrystal) of Clarence, MO; 12 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; siblings, Gloria McAlister (Pat), Leslie Mefford, Jr. (Laurie), Diane Fifer (Ray), Nancy Roberts (Michael), Jackie Joe Mefford (Donna), Dick Mefford (Kelly), Paul Mefford, and Linnie Mefford (Pamela).

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Bobbie Mefford Jr; one great-grandson; and one sister, Mary Rice.

Bobbie enjoyed going hunting and fishing and loved all kinds of animals. Bobbie liked watching westerns and listening to country music. He especially loved the time he spent with his family and friends.

Memorial services were at Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at 7 p.m. Visitation was held at the funeral home from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. A burial will be held at a later date.
