Raiders Get Easy Win Against Eagles

North Shelby dominated against Northwestern on Thursday, February 20. NS won 76-33.

“That tonight, proves how good of a team that we can be. Our effort, our energy, our enthusiasm and our communication was much better.  The kids were just focused and executed well,” said North Shelby head coach Landon Daniel.

Brendyn McDaniel led with 13 points. Robert Uhlmeyer scored 12 while Silas Presson and Kyle Smith each tallied 10.

The Raiders had a 18-6 lead in the first quarter. Smith scored six points.

NS took a 36-11 advantage at halftime.

To start the second half, Uhlmeyer fired in 3-pointer. He had four 3-pointers against the Eagles.

In the third quarter, McDaniel fired in two 3-pointers and a bucket in almost a minute. He had 11 of his 13 points in the third period.

Going into the final quarter, the Raiders led 65-20.

NS tallied 11 points to end the game.

North Shelby ended the regular season with a 12-13 record.

The Raiders take on Brashear on Tuesday, February 25 in the first round of the District Tournament at La Plata.
