Lillie Mae Lucas

  Lillie Lucas, age 78, of Shelbyville, Missouri passed away Saturday, February 22, 2020 at her home. 

  Lillie was born on July 14, 1941 in Anabel, Missouri, the daughter of Irvin Harvey and Urmine Mae Walter Rufener. She was united in marriage to Everett on October 5, 1957 in Anabel, Missouri. He preceded her in death on March 19, 2019.

  She is survived by three children, Bobby Lucas and special friend, Brenda Wright, of Shelbina, Missouri, Cindy Cooper and husband Pat of Shelbina, Missouri and Shane Lucas of Shelbyville, Missouri; five grandchildren, Justin Lucas, Rachel Lucas, Tim Arment, Kaci Klusmeyer and Faith Steele; eight great-grandchildren, Aiden Lucas, Lavessa Davis, Regan Bailey, Katelin Arment, Aubrey Klusmeyer, Braylee Klusmeyer, June Ronzio and Maxon Arment; three brothers, Bobby Rufener and wife Margie, Wendell Rufener and wife Kathy and 

Gene Rufener; one sister, Kathy Collins and husband Mike; two dogs, Mouse and Thor; and several nieces and nephews.

  She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Jimmy and Bitsy; one sister, Barb.

  She enjoyed fishing, feeding the birds and squirrels and watching the deer. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, great- grandchildren, and her two dogs, Mouse and Thor.

  Funeral services were held on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at 6 p.m. at the Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home in Shelbina, Missouri. A visitation preceded the service from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
