Eddie Carl Brown

Eddie Carl Brown, 80, of Macon passed away on Sunday, Dec. 13, 2020 at his home.

Eddie was born on Feb. 6, 1940, in Leonard, the son of Noble “Red” and Gladys (Gander) Brown. He was united in marriage to Luella Flowers on March 25, 1962, at the Methodist Church in Macon. Eddie was a member of the United Methodist Church and 50 plus years member of the Local 15 Bricklayers Union. He enjoyed hunting, target shooting, reloading ammunition, watching the Cardinals play baseball, attending softball and T-ball games of his great grandchildren, and spending time with his family

Eddie is survived by his wife, Luella, of the home; three sons, Rodney (Cheryl) of Excello, Kerry (Amira) of Wichita, Kan., and Danny of Excello; grandchildren, Skyler (Lucinda), Nick (Jessica), Meriah (Chris) of Wichita, Kan., and Troy (Audrey); great grandchildren Amiya, Marleigh, Ryder, Jade, Kendrick, Emaleigh, Charleigh, Jayleigh, Acien, Blaise, one on the way and Danyale; one sister, Linda (Jim) Boone of Macon and other extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Freddie Brown; and one sister, Chris Rufener.

Memorial services will be held 6 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 21 at  Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home in Macon. Visitation will be 5 to 6 p.m., on Monday at the funeral home. A private burial will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, north of Macon, at a later date. The family suggests memorials to the Randy Johnson Memorial Fund.
