Catherine Ann Wiseman, 87, of Shelbyville, passed away Sunday, August 1, 2021, at Loch Haven Nursing Home in Macon.
Catherine was born October 24, 1933 in Shelby County. She was the daughter of Johnny and Margaret (Pope) White.
On May 7, 1953 she was united in marriage to Lawrence Wesley Wiseman. He preceded her in death on December 1, 2004.
She is survived by three children, Gene Wiseman (Linda) of Jefferson City, J. Wendell Wiseman (Leesa) of Peculiar and Shirley Amidei (Larry) of Macon; eight grandchildren, Erin and Denise Wiseman, Hannah Wiseman (Jacob Meese), Ashton Whisenand, Tyler Lake, John, Chloe and Clarissa Kampe; three great-granchildren, Granden and Essence Lake, and Kynsten Whisenand; one sister, Mary Douglas (Clarence) of Emden; sister-in–law, Barbara Green; brothers-in-law, David Wiseman, and Leland Wiseman (Patty).
Catherine was preceded in death by her parents; her step-father, Gerald Bonnel and her husband.
Catherine was a member of the Shelbyville First Baptist Church. She taught Sunday school and played piano for church services. Catherine enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers. She loved the time she got to spend with her family and her grandkids.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 4 at 12 p.m. at Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home in Shelbina. A visitation was held prior to the service starting at 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial was held at Shelby Memorial Cemetery in Shelbyville.
